Zydeco! World Premiere
World Premiere of choreographer Elisa Monte's Zydeco!, commissioned by Performing Arts Society of Acadiana (PASA), and presented for the first time at Heymann Performing Arts Center in Lafayette, LA, on Oct. 11, 2008. The piece was performed by the Elisa Monte Dance Company, and featured projected images as well as live music by Jeffery Broussard and the Creole Cowboys (in the orchestra pit, and seen here in the foreground), to a score by Jonno Frishberg.
